Description
I painted this scene of Prospect Park Lake during autumn when the water becomes a mirror for the vibrant colors of the changing foliage. There’s something magical about how the lake reflects not just the trees but the entire mood of the season—a quiet moment of natural beauty right in the heart of Brooklyn.
This is print #6 from a strictly limited edition of 30. I personally sign, date, and number each one along the white border. For these prints, I use Epson Archival Surecolor K3 ink on textured Arches Aquarelle paper (240gsm) that beautifully preserves the rich colors and reflective quality of my original oil painting.
The print is available in two sizes:
- 8.5″x11″ with a .5″ white border
- 11″x17″ with a .5″ white border
I ship each print flat in an archival plastic sleeve to ensure it arrives in perfect condition. The print includes a white border that you can either keep as a natural frame or trim if you prefer.
What draws me to scenes like this is the contrast between urban life and these pockets of tranquility that exist throughout Brooklyn. Prospect Park Lake has a way of transforming with the seasons, and I wanted to capture that moment when the fall colors are at their peak and the water becomes a canvas for nature’s reflection.
