Description
This limited edition giclee print is of an original oil painting on canvas by landscape artist Noel Hefele. The painting depicts a white car overgrown with greenery, with a few pink flowers scattered about.
The inspiration for this piece came from the artist’s experiences as an artist in residence in Barbuda in 2013 and 2014. Overgrown cars are of particular interest to the artist, as they represent the tension between the built world and the needs of the natural world. The abstract, impressionist style of the painting adds to the sense of whimsy and reverie.
The giclee printing process uses high-quality inkjet printing technology and Epson Archival Ultrachrome K3 ink to produce fine art prints with excellent color accuracy and detail. The inks used are pigment-based, which gives them long-lasting qualities and allows them to maintain their color and vibrancy over time. The print is printed on Arches Aquarelle 240gm archival paper.
This limited edition print is signed, dated, and numbered by the artist and is available in a variety of sizes. It comes unframed and will be shipped flat in an archival plastic sleeve with archival foam backing (on the largest print size).
Please note that the colors on your monitor may differ slightly from the actual print.
