American Elm in Prospect Park – Limited Edition Giclee Print

$35.00

Description

I’ve always been drawn to the majestic American Elms in Prospect Park, especially this remarkable specimen that stands as a testament to resilience and natural beauty in our urban landscape. These trees have witnessed generations of Brooklyn history, and I wanted to capture both their grandeur and the peaceful atmosphere they create within the park.

This is print #1 from a strictly limited edition of 30. I personally sign, date, and number each one. For these prints, I use Epson Surecolor P900 ink on Canson Velin Museum Rag 310g archival paper, a combination that beautifully preserves the subtle details and natural colors of my original painting.

The print measures 8.5″x11″ with a white border. I ship each print flat in a protective sleeve to ensure it arrives in perfect condition.

What I love about these elms is how they create spaces of contemplation amidst the city’s energy. Their distinctive silhouettes and spreading canopies offer shelter and shade, transforming ordinary moments in the park into something special. This painting is part of my ongoing exploration of the natural landmarks that make Brooklyn’s green spaces so vital to our community.

Priced at $35, this print brings a piece of Prospect Park’s natural heritage into your home or makes a meaningful gift for anyone who cherishes Brooklyn’s beloved park.
