Van Cortlandt Park is in the northwest corner of the Bronx — meadows, a lake, stands of mature forest where the city disappears just past the tree line. I’ve painted here across multiple seasons, drawn to the scale of the landscape. The Tibbetts Brook work is just south: Daylighting Tibbetts Brook.
