Swallowfields

It was interesting— my tutors said “What else do you need to do?” in reference to this painting…   only to have my final feedback state that some paintings were “unfinished” – or something to that effect.

For the record, it is not my favorite painting. But in the context of my thesis show, I think it stood well as an alternative approach to vision. I believe that the tutors misread the context in which this was presented. Part of my bitterness stems from the response when I mentioned “I have more work to do here.”  I would have taken this painting further without their feedback.
