I’m showing Camperdown Elm, Prospect Park, Brooklyn in Humanity, Earth and The Universe, a group exhibition at the Yonkers Arts Project Space, 216 Lake Ave, Yonkers NY. The show is on view now through December 5, 2026.
The painting is of the Camperdown Elm in Prospect Park. The tree has stood for more than 150 years, and I painted it not long before one of its significant branches came down. It’s 48 × 48 inches, oil on canvas, from 2020, so it’s one to see in person.
The exhibition is curated by Joe Corbalis, Julie Cousens and Paul Greco, and brings together painting, sculpture, digital media and installation. I’ve shown with Yonkers Arts since 2022, and it’s good to have work in the space again. More at yonkersarts.org.
The painting is available ($3,000), and limited-edition giclée prints of it start at $55.
