Description
As an oil painter, I don’t often experiment with other mediums. But one night, I was feeling inspired and decided to try my hand at something new. I had some acrylic paint and paper in the studio, and I remembered a squeegee that my father had given me years ago. I decided to give it a go and see what I could create.
The result was this series of abstract works, including “Color Fields in Blue #2”. Inspired by the iconic squeegee paintings of Gerhard Richter, I used the tool to create bold, gestural strokes and build up layers of color. The end result is a dynamic and one-of-a-kind piece that captures the energy and emotion of the creative process.
I hope that this painting brings as much joy to your home as it did to my studio. It’s professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can experience the beauty of abstract art every day. Thank you for considering adding “Color Fields in Blue #2” to your art collection.
