Rutland Road Serenity – Prospect Lefferts Gardens Giclee

$35.00

Description

I painted this scene after being captivated by the light on Rutland Road one afternoon. The way the sunlight filtered through the trees transformed our Brooklyn neighborhood into something magical. The dappled light playing across the brownstones creates this serene moment that captures what I love most about Prospect Lefferts Gardens—the harmony between historic architecture and nature’s canopy.

This is print #1 from a strictly limited edition of 30. I personally sign, date, and number each one along the white border. For these prints, I use Epson Archival Surecolor ink on Canson Velin Museum Rag 315g/m² archival paper, a combination that beautifully preserves the vibrant colors and light effects of my original oil painting.

The paper measures 8.5″x11″ with a .5″ white border, with the image itself measuring approximately 7.5″x7.5″. This gives you flexibility for framing options. I ship each print flat in an archival plastic sleeve to ensure it arrives in perfect condition. (Frame and mat are not included.)

What draws me to scenes like this is finding those quiet moments that might otherwise go unnoticed—the way sunlight patterns dance across the brownstones, how the trees frame our historic buildings, and the sense of peaceful coexistence between urban life and nature that makes our neighborhood so special.

If you’ve ever walked down Rutland Road and felt that moment of tranquility amidst the city’s energy, this print aims to bring that feeling into your home.
