Description
I’ve always been drawn to the character and warmth of Brooklyn’s brownstones. This piece captures a row of these iconic buildings on Rutland Road that I painted while exploring Prospect Lefferts Gardens.
There’s something about the way light plays on these historic facades that tells the story of our neighborhood – the textures, colors, and architectural details that make Brooklyn so distinctive.
This is print #2 from a limited edition of only 30. I personally sign, date, and number each one along the white border. For these prints, I use Epson Archival ink on rich textured Canson paper (240g/m) that preserves the depth and detail of my original painting.
The print measures 8.5″x11″ with a .5″ white border framing the image. The actual image size is approximately 7.5″x8.25″. I package each print in an archival sleeve and ship it flat to ensure it arrives in perfect condition.
These brownstones represent the heart of Brooklyn for me – the place where architecture, community, and history come together in the everyday scenes we walk past but don’t always stop to appreciate.
