Architecture of a Puddle, Prospect Park

$55.00

Puddles are usually treated as mistakes — by-products of infrastructure. But a puddle is a decision registering itself: water’s disagreement with the built environment, written on the ground. This painting holds the reflection of an ironwood tree in a Prospect Park puddle — the branches and their watery counterparts, the space in between. The painting found its home with a couple who had admired it quietly for a long time.
