I’m excited to have my copy of the most recent Voices of Lefferts journal. My paintings were published, the first color printing artwork showcase in the journal’s 3 year history.
Copies are sold at the Greenlight bookstore on Flatbush avenue and available on the green light website.
This is the 2nd time I’ve been in VOL, with my COVID diary entry included in this issue.
I’m grateful for being included, honored to have my paintings printed in color. Many thanks to all involved in producing these journals, especially project head Deborah Mutnick.
Copies of the journal are archived in the Brooklyn library.
Voices of Lefferts aims to document neighborhood history through community writing, art, and oral history, that is, through the stories and voices of the people who live here. You can find out more about the initiative on their website.
