This is a developing gallery during a strange time to learn the land. I moved to the Bronx 2 weeks before the lockdown in 2020. We no longer had our dog Nico, which was a large part of my “landscape walking / thinking” practice. In her place, I’ve become embedded with the volunteers and seasonal staff at Van Cortlandt Park. This has been an invaluable perspective into learning the park and paintings are in development emerging from this engagement.
